Who We Are

Martin Kafunda Football School (MKFS) is a grassroots football school founded in January 2025 by Gift Kafunda in honour of his late father, Martin Wesley Kafunda, who was a grassroots football coach and a strong believer in developing young people through sport.

MKFS was created to give young players an opportunity to learn, develop and enjoy football in a positive and structured environment.

We believe football is about more than just winning games. It is also about discipline, teamwork, confidence, character, responsibility and personal growth.

Our Philosophy

At MKFS, our goal is to develop the whole child — both as a footballer and as an individual.

We work with children of different abilities, from beginners who are discovering football for the first time to players who are looking to improve their skills and understanding of the game.

Through football, we aim to help every child become more confident, disciplined, respectful and willing to work with others.
